1. Why I don’t “follow back”

Just because you start following me doesn’t mean I’m going to follow you back. It says so on my description. So don’t follow expecting a follow back, only to unfollow a few days later. I’ll just shake my head in your general direction.

I hate being bombarded with what is largely irrelevant information, not just Tumblr, but the combined efforts of Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter and everything else we hear in our daily lives.

At the moment, I’m quite happy with the amount of information I receive from my less than 40 users. I like it that way. That way, I don’t miss out on a post where someone has actually put thought into their post and writing, instead of the incessant reblogging of thousands of kittens. Yes, they’re cute we get it, but stop. One every now and then is fine enough.

I’d rather read and compliment or console or offer advice and feedback to someone who I care about and care what they post about as opposed to missing someone pour their heart out for it to go unseen, just because I merely followed someone back because they want to increase an arbitrary variable and their E-penis.
